How this book has cruised under the radar without praises is beyond me. This Is one of my all-time favorites books on Jesus. The format is a vignette of scripture followed by Mr. Gempf's most entertaining and wonderfully human insights of the passage. I read these vignettes as a daily devotional and it never fails to connect me in a personal way with the person of Jesus. Isn't that our goal, our longing to be in relationship with Jesus. My only regret is this fabulous writer has not written more. Check out his other insightful book, "What Jesus Asked, What He Really Wanted to Know" Thank you Conrad for deepening my daily walk with the King.
